This pose comes after Uttana Padasana (Leg lift). If Bow Pose is difficult/hurts, I substitute with Setu Bandhasana (Bridge Pose).
Benefits include: Strengthens adrenals. Tones liver, spleen, and gallbladder. Massages internal organs and increases digestive fire. Warms lower back and pelvis and overall digestive health improved.
